Check-ins¶
Alongside offers two widely used questionnaires, so you can put words to how you've been.
| Questionnaire | What it looks at | Questions |
|---|---|---|
| PHQ-9 | Low mood (depressive symptoms) | 9 |
| GAD-7 | Anxiety (anxiety symptoms) | 7 |
Both ask how often you've been bothered by each problem over the last 2 weeks.
What a score means¶
A score is a prompt to talk to a GP or therapist, not a diagnosis. Only a clinician can say what it means for you.
A safety check on the PHQ-9
Any answer above zero to the PHQ-9 question about thoughts of death or self-harm triggers a safety check, whatever the total score. See How safety works.
Where the questionnaires come from¶
